About Sabine Mawdsley:
Sabine manages the practice whilst also being able to offer support during therapy sessions as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
Sabine is a qualified nurse and midwife, is trained in ante-natal and post-natal instruction although is not currently practicing. Sabine has completed various courses and workshops on child development, Sensory Integration, social skills, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and supporting learning disabilities.
Sabine also offers breastfeeding support to new mothers. This occurs at our clinic, in the family home (depending on location) or at Sabine's home on the North Shore.
About Belinda Goosen:
Occupational Therapist - intervention
Belinda is highly motivated and passionate about working with children of all ages and their families. She is skilled in establishing positive and respectful relationships with children and helping them to achieve their goals and reach their fullest potential. Belinda has experience working with children and families and ensures every interaction is a positive interaction.
About Susan Espadero:
Occupational Therapist - Intervention
Susan is an occupational therapist with over five years of clinical experience in the pediatric setting. She has worked with families of children with autism, global developmental delay, cerebral palsy and intellectual disability in the clinic, home, community and school setting. She has received in-house training in the areas of sensory integration, the Bobath approach and trauma-informed practice. She also has a special interest in Social Thinking and is highly motivated in helping children with disabilities to achieve their full potential.
Training and Qualifications:
All of our therapists are qualified Occupational Therapists. They are registered with the New Zealand Board of Occupational Therapists. Therapists partake in regular professional development and supervision.
